About
Statement: My art is inspired by nature, emotions, random patterns,
people and animals. I find beauty in simple things. I often delight in symbols
and visual metaphors to give the viewer something to discover. My best tools
are my hands and my words. Much of my art includes words and literary
references. Most of my art tells a story. My career as an educator has greatly
influenced my work as a visual artist and storyteller.
